Florida Immigrant Coalition Leaders React to Federal Judge Ruling That Keeps in Place Racist & Dangerous Title 42

A Louisiana federal judge ruled on Friday that Title 42 cannot end on Monday, May 23rd as it was scheduled to. Title 42 is a Trump-Era policy that led to the expulsion of more than one million lawful asylum seekers at our borders. It unjustly targeted Black immigrants, caused asylum seekers to face more dangers, and played no role in minimizing COVID-19 cases.
